After attending Baylor University and teaching for a year at Wayland Baptist University in 1985, I began teaching at Caprock High School in 1986. Wow-- that 24 years has gone by fast. I have taught some of your kids-- Mike Martellaro, Sarah Park, Marty Painter. Now I am teaching the kids of my former students and am teaching with former students as well. I love that!
I attend First Baptist Church where I sing in the Sanctuary Choir and also teach 10th Grade Sunday School. I also am a Deacon and conversatiional Spanish teacher at First Baptist. I enjoy playing golf-- (not well) and discovering new restaurants that others might consider "dives." If you get a chance, try Yogi's Fish and Wings on Western right across from Sam Houston Middle School and Amarillo Country Club. If you have favorite places in Amarillo or where you live, please share them with me.
I also enjoy cooking- again not well- and published my own cookbook in 2008.
Please check the link on my profile page. It is a blog of a trip I took with my brother, Robert Frazer, in 2007. We took what we called "Golf's Ultimate Roadtrip." We bought golf coupon books from the American Cancer Society and set out on a trip through central Texas. We decided to play one hole at 18 different courses over a six day period. We traveled to small "out of the way" courses from Fort Worth to Waco. It was one of the most fun trips that I have ever taken. If you have some friends or family who enjoy golf, I would highly recommend that you take your own "ultimate roadtrip!" Take a moment and check out the blog!

School Story:

How many times- I have told the story of the 1978 flood. I was going to Ross Glaze's out of school party between Amarillo and Canyon. I was riding with Brian Scott. We had just turned on to a dirt road when it began pouring rain. All of the cars got stuck in the mud, and we all got out and started pushing cars out of the mud. I turned around and saw 2 funnel clouds just south of where we were. Once we got Brian's car out, we headed back to Amarillo. It was raining so hard that the windshield wipers were uselsss. To this day, I believe that we drove back to Amarillo on the south bound lane of the Canyon E-Way! Do you remember how much of Canyon was totally underwater the next morning.

I also have very fond memories of my days as a Football Manager 1978-1980 working with Pat Lara, Keith Holmes, and Steve Schumacher. We had a lot of fun and were always laughing when we weren't fighting. We loved to compare immitations of Coach Narrell--"Turn in Your LAUNDRY!" School was fun. I hope your memories are as fond as mine!
