Susan G. Ritter Brickey

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Susan G. Ritter Brickey, 45, died Friday, March 23, 2007, in Kansas City, Kan.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.

Mrs. Brickey died after a lengthy illness Friday, March 23, 2007, at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Brickey was born Jan. 17, 1962, in Amarillo, Texas. She married Michael Brickey. She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, assisted in the Acorn School and had taught Sunday school.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elmer Lee Ritter.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Matthew and Bradley Brickey, both of St. Joseph; her father, Keith Ritter and wife Carole of Amarillo; her brothers and sister, Mark Ritter of Austin, Texas, and Steve Ritter and wife Patty, Karen Craghead and Cary Ritter and wife Robbie, all of Amarillo; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Zane Brickey of St. Joseph; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society or the St. Joseph Animal Shelter.
