My fondest memories of Kelly besides her beauty, are of when we took Driver's Ed together. That poor instructor, we put him through it.

Kelly and I were best friends at Western Plateau in the 5th and 6th grade. We walked home for lunch almost every day those two years to one of our houses and ate Tuna Fish --- we ate so much during those two years that I don't think I've eaten it since and I can't even stand the smell now... I can't believe they used to let us go home for lunch in the 5th grade. She was a precious beautiful girl and so wonderful to her little brother. I remember how close she was to both of her brothers.

Unless I am wrong Kelly also went to Paramount Terrace. I loved Kelly and she was so pretty inside and out. We will miss you Kelly but remember you very well.

Kelli lived 2 houses down from me and we spent most of our time together in trouble. The first thing that came to mind about things we did, was the night she kept calling the house next door (before caller ID)and flirting with the old man. He tape recorded her and brought it over for my parents to listen to when they got home. We got in so much trouble being mean to this people. Kelli, you have been missed so much,, love you and will see you again someday.
If I am not mistaken, Kelli passed away in January of 1989, because I was 9 months pregnant with my daughter, and I did not get to go to the funeral.

Kelly ended up being my best friend after we were out of school. She meant the world to me and my son and we have some very fond memories and cherished pictures of her in our lives. She remains in my heart forever.

I think about Kelli all the time. Never figured out why she wanted to be my friend, wallflower me. I left Amarillo in 1987. My first trip home, with my new son, also 3 months old, I arrived on the evening she was killed. It's always kind of bugged me that she was taken on that particular day. I talked to her right before I moved in '87, had planned to call her the morning after I got home.

:(

I'd give just about anything to be in touch with Linzi. That child has always been on my mind and in my heart.
